How Team Training Skills Translate:
Discover how the investment you make with your team impacts beyond the workplace.
Video Transcript: When I think of teams coming together, and let's say they learn about their strengths, their personalities, they start to work on these emotional intelligence skills. What I love to hear so often, and it happens all the time; I use this with my kid. I remember him years ago; I taught a class about empathy. And he came back to class, he said, I tried your empathy skills with my 12-year-old, and she actually talked to me. This Christmas, I have a team that we just finished a personality assessment on. And the top leader says I'm doing this with my whole family around the Christmas table. I had one person who came back and said; my wife thinks we're incompatible because we have different personalities; and I said, okay, let's talk about this! I love when we take what we learned, and whether you're in and out of your company, your company is investing in you, and they know that you may not stay, and that's okay. We invest in people; what a gift from your company. But when you leave, and you put it into practice within your workplace, but also outside of work, that's an amazing step in personal development and emotional intelligence where everybody wins.
