How To Be Clear

Video Transcript: That's not clear. I appreciate you were very kind, but it's not clear. What's clear is the impact. How did it affect you? Here's another example. Last week, Friday afternoon, you stayed late to finish something. You're finishing the project; we're working on your getting all the boxes out the door because you stay late. Our customers got exactly what they needed. We built a lot of trust with them. They now are gonna give us more business. That's much more impactful than Hey, you stay late. We got all the boxes out the door. Thanks, dude. The impact statement is the statement that moves to profound change. How did they affect you as a leader, the whole team, maybe another department, or the business as a whole? What could you do because they showed up because they're here? We were all different. It speaks to the need that all humans have to be part of something bigger than themselves; I need it, I'm relevant.
